Well I didn't make it to Verona this summer. Nor to Boston. Which is a pity, because I have missed out on the NBER Summer Institute 2006 and their famous clambake. As usual this four week talkfest, which began this week, covers an enormous range of subjects. In Week One the events include:
* Asset Pricing Workshop
* Monetary Economics Workshop
* Development of the American Economy
* International Finance and Macroeconomics
* Risks of Financial Institutions Group Meeting
* Economic Growth
* Economic Fluctuations and Growth Research Meeting
* Working Group on Forecasting & Empirical Methods in Macroeconomics & Finance
