Offshoring creates many jobs in Asia, but I wouldn't want to count those against ones lost elsewhere. In the same manner an intermediate country may gain from the losses of their more prosperous neighbors. Nor can offshoring be directly measured. How many jobs are not created that otherwise would be if they couldn't be offshored?
